The invention relates to smelting engineering and, in particular, to mining units for furnaces for smelting ore concentrates. The known partition of the kiln shaft separating the melt collector from the settling tank, which is filled with hollow channels for coolant, is lined with refractory material 1. Closest to the invention in construction and the achieved result is a partition wall of a shaft furnace for smelting ore raw materials, made of separate, located one above another, elements with refrigerant channels {21. The disadvantage of both partitions lies in their low resistance in melting conditions. The purpose of the invention is to increase the durability of the partition at high thermomechanical loads. The goal is achieved by melting ore concentrate in a partition wall of a shaft furnace, made of separate, located one above another, elements with coolant drops, the elements and the partition itself are T-shaped, the elements are made of metal with protrusions on opposite sides, touching these protrusions and connected by welding, and the cavity between adjacent elements formed by the protrusions filled with refractory material FIG. 1 shows the proposed partition in axonometry; in fig. 2 - filling of the cavities between the projections of the refractory material. The partition consists of T-shaped elements 1, made of metal, with channels 2 for the refrigerant. The elements are located one above the other and are connected by welding 3 along the protrusions 4. The cavities 5 formed by the projections between adjacent elements are filled with refractory material 6. The partition is installed in the shaft of the furnace, its partition into chambers of various functional purposes.
